Laura Badke Pottery

By profession I’m a graphic designer but I’ve found my true passion.
I always have had a love for pottery. For years I used to collect it and one day I decided to try my hand at it. Low and behold I truly love it. It has become my passion and my sanctuary.
I have been creating pottery now for about 6 years. I throw on the wheel as well as create hand built pieces. All my pieces are made from stoneware clay. I love glazing because each piece comes out different which makes the creative process exciting for me.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.

Alegna Soap

Angela Carillo decided to take her career in chemistry in a new direction after the kids left home. Through a journey that led her from library research to classes, conferences and communities of other soap makers, Alegna Soap began as a business in 2010. Her products are now in local bed & breakfasts, specialty shops and available online. All products are made in small batches with organic oils and butters and scented with natural plant essential oils. Peppermint Scrub soap is the best seller, followed closely by my personal favorite, Lavender Lemongrass soap.

Remember Me Green

Just do it. Think different. People are constantly looking for signs that motivate and inspire them, and billboards give us that in a million ways every day; but for Jillian Brown, founder of Remember Me Green, they take on a whole new meaning. Her eco-friendly lifestyle brand is made from one-of-a-kind upcycled NYC billboards that feature unforgettable, innovative colors and images.

As a passionate advocate for “recycle, reuse,” Jillian discovered a niche no one had thought of: turning trash into treasure. Traditionally when city billboards are removed, they are simply lugged to a landfill – something bad for the environment and a waste of good source materials. Jillian knew there was a better way to make use of them, and she was determined to figure out how.
